The discussion centered on the severe impact of climate change, with children sharing firsthand experiences of rising temperatures, air pollution, and water scarcity.<br\/><br\/>Rooted in Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which upholds children\u2019s right to express their views on matters affecting them, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about the effects of climate change and sustainable environmental practices, empower children to participate in policy discussions and share their perspectives, and advocate for child-inclusive policies that address climate challenges.<br\/><br\/>During the event, children suggested practical solutions, including tree-planting campaigns, reducing plastic use, and promoting water conservation. The discussion centered on the severe impact of climate change, with children sharing firsthand experiences of rising temperatures, air pollution, and water scarcity.<br\/><br\/>Rooted in Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which upholds children\u2019s right to express their views on matters affecting them, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about the effects of climate change and sustainable environmental practices, empower children to participate in policy discussions and share their perspectives, and advocate for child-inclusive policies that address climate challenges.<br\/><br\/>During the event, children suggested practical solutions, including tree-planting campaigns, reducing plastic use, and promoting water conservation. At the policy level, they called for stricter industrial regulations, improved waste management, and increased investment in renewable energy.<br\/>Acknowledging the significance of children\u2019s perspectives, Ms. Kanwal Liaqat proposed launching a provincial policy dialogue on \u201cChildren\u2019s Perspectives in Climate Action\u201d in collaboration with SFJ and Kindernothilfe.
