We are inspired by Sr. Agatha Chikelue, Coordinator, GNRC Nigeria, whose recent reflection published by the Berkley Center at Georgetown University explores how faith can be a force for peace, inclusion, and the flourishing of women.
In “Sacred Flourishing: Linking Faith, Development, and Inclusive Futures for Women,” Sr. Agatha reminds us that true development goes beyond material progress; it must also nurture the spiritual, relational, and cultural dimensions of life. She highlights how faith communities, when guided by compassion and justice, can transform harmful norms, amplify women’s voices, and help build more inclusive societies.
